The BS in Nursing Science is a unique four-year undergraduate degree awarded by the College of Health Sciences. Students begin with two years of basic science prerequisite courses and UCI general education requirements before completing the upper-level Nursing Science courses in the junior and senior years. Provided here is an example course schedule with some possible general education requirements entered.

1Courses recommended to complete the Social and Behavioral Sciences general education requirement. Students may complete the requirement with other approved courses.
2Elective course open to any students interested in knowing more about nursing and the health professions.
3Courses recommended to complete the lower division writing requirement. Students may complete the requirements with other approved courses.
4Courses recommended to complete the Humanistic Inquiry general education requirement. Students may complete the requirement with other approved courses, such as the Humanities Core courses.
5Basic statistics requirement may be met with any of these courses or an equivalent course.
