Accreditation

UCI is fully accredited by the Senior Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The Program in Nursing Science is accredited by the California Board of Registered Nursing which allows the graduates of the program to sit for the National Council for Licensure Examination for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN) and to obtain a public health nurse certificate. As the program progresses, the school will pursue accreditation by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing’s Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
