The broad scope of the College of Health Sciences is to provide a structure to facilitate and expand research and teaching activities in the health sciences. This is accomplished by creating new opportunities at the scientific forefront of many fields and providing heightened visibility to increase the number of interdisciplinary graduate programs, research centers, and collaborative research projects. The results will be evident by an increase in graduate enrollment and the ability to assist with accommodating the projected rapid growth in the undergraduate enrollment.
